The Arts section of The New York Times has many pictures…as it should. What reminded me most of Flickr‘s Explore/The Commons bar was a moving navigation bar called Inside Arts: with a single mouse click, you can scroll through pictures with headlines.

On some articles, aside from the featured photo, there is sometimes a small tab that says More Photos>> This takes the navigator through a slide show page, where there are all kinds of beautiful pictures…and you still haven’t left the art section!

For photos in the Dance section under the headline “Fall for Dance”, click here. 

I feel it is important for a website as prestigious as the Times’ to include pictures in its work. To be honest, these are more entertaining to study than the writing itself.
